Halloween Hoot

We were lucky enough to be invited to our friends the Sundloffs annual Halloween Hoot. The kids had a blast... and we got a funny story out of it...

This is my little princess on our way to the Hoot. Isn't she lovely?

Doesn't she look so prim and proper?

This is Sami discovering the bobbing for apples game....

any game that includes the potential for a mess is a magnet for this prim and proper princess...

and THIS is Sami AFTER her mean mommy ripped her away from the bobbing for apples game...

She got her dress all wet, and Miss Sami does NOT like to be wet. Hunter and I went in the backyard to say goodbye to some friends. All of the sudden I heard people giggling and I looked up and my little princess was streaking across the yard in nothing but her Tinkerbell panties and her sandals. She was full on running, swinging her arms yelling, "Mom, I want to jump on the trampoline!" Two seconds behind her a lady was running holding her dress in the air yelling, "Here's her dress!" Apparently she got tired of being soggy, saw another little boy take his costume off (HE was wearing clothes underneath) and thought that sounded like a good idea! She was not very happy when I informed her that we do not play naked!

Here are some more cute pictures from the day:

Hunter AKA: The Hulk The kids were cracking me up. From the second they put their costumes on they were no longer Hunter and Sami. When Sami addressed Hunter it was now Hulk and the Hulk called Sami Princess... all afternoon!
The fishing game!

The fishing loot

We decorated cute little masks
Hunter spent most of his time going back to this witch and her pet spider. She could make the spider "jump" with a little button. I think he was secretly scared of it and trying to conquer his fear. In between each new activity he did he'd go back to the witch and stare the spider down and after a minute or two he'd get his guts back and touch it...

We are so lucky to have such fun creative friends that invite us to such fun parties!

Thanks Tiffy for a fun afternoon!

So fun! Love the costumes. I can't wait to dress Danica up in a girly costume. Oh, and I can so see where Sami gets her love for showing skin... my parent's house... 1996-ish... crop top. Ha ha!
