We were lucky enough to get invited to our friends cabin for new years eve. We packed up the kids... and all of our holiday left over treats... and headed up to the cabin. We had such a blast!

Pajama-jam party!
Pajama-jam party!Hunter and Porter got to have a slumber party... and they actually did some sleeping! We let them stay up and play until about 11 and sent them up to bed... and they STAYED! Even with bellies full of sugar! What good boys!
The "grown ups" stayed up playing games. I'm not sure if we were as funny as we thought we were, or if we were just delirious from lack of sleep... midnight is late for us old timers!

We are so lucky to have such good friends that always invite us to do fun things. Hopefully we'll have some fun stuff in the future so we can return the favor!
2008 was a good year, but it had it's challenges too. I'm looking forward to a new start with a new year!

Looks like you had a blast. New years is a wierd holiday for me...I think I need to buy a cabin so I have something cool to do!

I do remember you very well! You look great, and your kids are adorable. I'm so sorry for your loss as well! It is definately a hard thing to go through!
