Merry Christmas!

We had a very fun and busy Christmas this year! The kids were both so much fun and excited about everything this year!

We spend Christmas Eve with the Garners. We ate yummy food, and played with cousins. Then we hurried home to sprinkle our "reindeer food" on the "lawn", put out milk and cookies for Santa, and of course open up our jammie gift befor heading off to bed so Santa could come.

Last year Hunter was more excited that Santa ate the cookies we left him... this year it was Samis turn to be most excited about that! After we opened presents at our house we headed down to the Grandma and Grandpa Tineys house and opened even more presents and had Christmas lunch. Wow my kids got spoiled!!! Then it was back to Grams and Pops Garner to exchange gifts with the cousins. It was a busy, but very fun day!!!

Hunter got the "Optimus Prime" and "Bumblebee" transformers he's been waiting for all season!!

Sami got a bunch of dress up clothes.. she calls them her "pretties"
Waiting patiently for their presents

5 Days 'til Christmas!

Friday was a fun packed day for us!
Hunters preschool had their Christmas party and I got to come help out. It was so fun to get to see Hunter in his element!

Hunter telling Santa he wants and Optimus Prime Transformer for Christmas.
Hunters chore that day was to hand out all the cups. He was so proud to show me how he could do his job. What a big boy!
The kids each drew names for a present exchange. One at a time they opened their gifts. It was so cute, they all gathered around each person as they opened their present and ooohed and ahhhed together!

Hunters future girl friends Maddie and Briley
We had a huge snow storm on Friday, so we decided to finally put the kids snow clothes to some good use. It was a blast, but we only lasted about 30 minutes... mommy was a wuss and lured the kids inside with some cookies and hot chocolate! Maybe I wouldn't be as wussy if I got some snowpants for me!
Cute little snow suit bums!

Brrrrrrrrr!
that night was our ward Christmas party and we got to see Santa again... Sami wasn't thrilled to see him! Funny because when we pulled up to the church we told the kids Santa would be visiting our party. Sami was so excited and kept squeeling, "Santa Clause! Sit on his lap!" But as soon as he walked in she FREAKED out and would have nothing do with him. At least we got a good picture with the mall Santa!

The kids sitting with one of our favorite babysitters, Kassi Hunter with Santa. This was seriously the cutest Santa I've ever seen. He had me convinced!! I almost sat on his lap and asked him for some new appliances for my kitchen!
Can anyone believe how fast December has flown by?!!!

Little Sisters Are Fun After All!!

Having a little sister is FINALLY paying off for Hunter... Sami is FINALLY big enough to REALLY play with Hunter. The kids are starting to play so cute together and Hunter tells me all the time Sami is his best friend. Sami wakes up from her naps everyday calling for Hunter! They will disappear into the basement or Hunters room for hours playing together with the occasional quick brawl breaking out!

Brett snapped this picture of the kids with his camera phone last night. They were playing basketball in the living room then tipped the hoop over and were sitting on it watching a show together. Notice Samis little hand on Hunters hand! These are the moments that make the "pull your hair out moments" well worth it!!
