Our local firestation did their annual open house today and the kids and I decided to go check it out. We are so glad we did... we had a BLAST!

The firefighters lit a tree on fire and we got to watch them put the fire out. Actually we got to the street just in time to see the end of it. The kids were still impressed!

Where'd everybody go...? Sami's hat kept falling down over her face. It probably had something to do with the fact that she kept putting it on backwards and wouldn't let me fix it.

HELLO.... this line is much too long!
The kids got to sit in the helicopter. We got lucky, we waited in line for 15 minutes and right when we got to the front they said they needed to leave, but they let us go in really quick.
